Some time on Wednesday March 11th, unknown person/persons stole a Tractor and Trailer from the Hays Youth Soccer and Hays Youth Baseball Complex.

Community Help Needed- Announcement date- - Thursday, March 12, 2009

On a personal note, it is indeed a sad day when someone steals from Non-Profit youth associations.  Our associations are here to provide whatever we can, to as many of our local youth as possible and to take something from us shows how pitiful and pathetic your own lives must be. 

Someone out there knows who took this equipment.  So, on behalf of the kids of Hays County that use our complexes, I call upon everyone to ask questions, get involved and try to help recover this equipment.

Hays YSA Merchandise- announcement date- - Thursday, January 22, 2009

Attention HYSA Families, 

We are pleased to announce a new online ordering store of HYSA Merchandise.  Orders are placed directly with the company and will ship to your address. We have Academy and Rec logo apparel and Blankets as well as Fusion, Academy and Rec Caps, Beanies and stretch Fleece Headbands. You will get to create merchandise to you personal preference. You choose Product, pick from a list of provided colors and sizes, and then choose from available HYSA logos.

 We hope to turn this into an easy and affordable ongoing fundraiser to help raise money for HYSA and show club spirit at same time.

First order run will end February 15th, so order now to avoid last second rush. We will also have a second order run end on March 15th.

HYSA would like to congratulate our Fusion 97 Girls select team, coaching staff and parents for an out-standing fall season.  This 97 girl’s team won the Western District (WD) Division 2 championship and placed third in state.

Conduct Towards Referees- Announcement date- - Monday, February 20, 2006
Discourtesies to referees and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
Refereeing soccer, like playing soccer, looks easier from the sidelines then it is on the field and the referee cannot see everything from all angles. Understand the laws of the game. 
 
 Inquire about calls respectfully.   If parents disagree with a call they should ask the coach to explain it.  Parents should not question referees directly under any circumstances.  PERIOD.
 
Treat them, whether or not you agree with their calls, as you would want to be treated. Look at the big picture.  Soccer is a GAME.  Most of our youth soccer players will stop playing before high school.  Keep the games inperspective.  If you cannot watch the game without losing control, stay home.
