HYSA has offered quality soccer programs for youth age 4 through 18 since 1981 to residents of Northeastern Hays County, including and extending to Buda, Kyle, Mountain City, Driftwood, Manchaca, San Marcos and Austin. HYSA provides a fun, positive environment for the children of our community to participate in friendly competition in a way that will be a positive, healthy, self-esteem building experience

In addition to the Recreational League, HYSA has competitive Fusion/Select Teams, hosts soccer Tournaments and Clinics, and conducts coach and referee training and certification courses.

Player scholarships are available on a limited basis.


Hays Youth Soccer Association (HYSA), serving Buda, Kyle, Mountain City, Driftwood, Manchaca, San Marcos and Austin, is a non-profit organization created to promote, coordinate, administer and unify youth soccer through its affiliated organizations. It is HYSA's goal to provide a fun, positive environment for the children of the community to participate in friendly competition in a way that will be a positive, healthy, self-esteem building experience.

The HYSA Board meets on the third Sunday of every month in the meeting room above the concession stand.  The public is encouraged to attend these meetings.  Individuals that wish to address the Board must notify Dan Allison, treasurer@hayssoccer.com, at least 14 days prior to the meeting in order to be added to the agenda.  Only executive sessions of the Board are closed to the public.

Hays Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) is part of the Hays County Youth Athletic Association (HCYAA), a Texas Not-for-Profit, 501c(3) Tax Exempt Corporation. HYSA’s purposes are charitable, educational and athletic, as defined by the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act, and include the teaching of good sportsmanship; the education of youth participants and adult sponsors in the fundamentals of soccer; the promotion of soccer through sponsorship of regularly scheduled youth soccer competitions; and by conducting such other activities as HYSA deems appropriate.

League Affiliation

Hays Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) plays club soccer with the Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA). CAYSA is an affiliate of the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) and United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA).  This branch of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) manages youth soccer in the United States. It consists of 55 member associations -- one in each of 45 states and two in each of the following 5: Texas, California, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Membership

More than 700 players, coaches and referees participate in youth soccer at HYSA.

Registration Fees

Locally determined fees which cover operating expenses also include payment to CAYSA for insurance and administrative costs.

Programs

Through its affiliation with CAYSA and STYSA, HYSA is able to provide coach and referee training and certification courses. Player clinics are held on a regular basis. Player scholarships are available on a limited basis.
